Why A Page for Beginners?
When I first started using Flight Simulator, I quickly learned that to get the full enjoyment out of it, You have to learn some basic navigation techniques. I'm far from an expert but wanted to pass along some things others have shared with me that has enabled me to get up and flying and navigating between airports.

Steve's Flight School was opened in June 1998 Our idea was to provide easy to understand lessons for the Flight Sim beginner. The primary purpose of the lessons was to help beginners quickly learn the basics of navigation to better enjoy Flight Simulator.  We are currently looking for new VA's interested in joining Steves Flight School. Have your pilots take our exams, with the results mailed directly to your Virtual Airline. What you decide to do with the results, is up to you, some ideas:
use for promotions,
Give credit hours
Reward new pilots with better routes
The possiblities are ending.

| Air Northwest Virtual Airlines Expansion |
ANW_CEO writes "Air Northwest Virtual Airlines (ANW), moving into it's 10th year of operation has added support for the Microsoft Family of Simulations.
ANW now offers pilots to choose between the simulators, and work together within the community. ANW has also partnered with Globalvac.net. The two together will develop various system strategies and offer these throughout the Flight Sim Community.
It doesn't make sense to create an additive to the simulation world, and not share it with the community.
And as always, anyone is welcome to submit an application to become a pilot with ANW.
